What are my rights?

  • Platforms must state in their terms of service which factors determine what content someone is shown.
  • Very large online platforms are obliged to maintain a public register with information about the online ads they show, including the target audience.
  • For each ad that's shown on an online platform, you have to be able to find information about that ad, including the reason why the ad was shown to you.
